Signs and Symptoms of STDs: Yellow Discharge
Yellow discharge in women and men can often indicate a sexually transmitted disease. Vaginal discharge can be normal in women, but significant changes in color and odor signal an infection. In men, penile discharge is never normal.
What STDs could cause yellow discharge?
STDs chlamydia, gonorrhea, and trichomoniasis can cause yellow discharge in both women and men. Since these infections have similar symptoms, only STD testing can determine the cause of symptoms. An accurate diagnosis must be determined before proper treatment can be rendered. These three infections are all curable.
